Matsue Koi Farm is a famous Nishikigoi (koi) breeder in Japan, located in Shimane prefecture. It was founded in 1966 by Shoichi Iizuka, and is now run by his sons Takahiro and Hiroaki. Matsue Koi Farm specializes in Kohaku and Sanke, and is the home of the Iitsuka Sensuke bloodline. It has a total raising area of 20 hectares, consisting of 80 mud ponds and 12 greenhouses. Matsue Koi Farm is known for its high-quality jumbo kohaku, which have won many prizes at the All Japan Koi Show and other competitions. It also exports its koi to many countries around the world, including the US.

    1966 — Founded as Matsue Nishikigoi Center in Nishitsuda, Matsue City.

    1980 — Relocated to Higashi-Izumo, where the farm continues operations today.

    1990 — Incorporated as Matsue Nishikigoi Center Co., Ltd.
